Since Kate started these 'death wishes', let us be morbid again

what music do you want at your funeral?

Will we get the usual mush - Sinatra 'I did it my way' or will some of you get the congregation chuckling.

I recall a memorable funeral where nothing but ABBA was played.

Pink Floyd 'I have become comfortably numb' seems apt

I was at a funeral last Friday, Guns n Roses and Bon Jovi were played.

went to a funeral at the crematoriam a few months ago .. one step beyond by Madness was played when the curtains were shutting ..

mine i havent the foggiest .. all i know is i want to be buried rather than cremated .. that stems from 24 years ago after telling my dad to his face a month before he died that he wasnt being cremated he was being buried .. id just gone to a funeral and it was a cremation ..

This thread has really been bothering me, so i`ve changed my mind, it was a toss up with Highway To Hell but i`ve informed my missus its Bon Jovi.................final answer.

My aunt died recently at 100 + years old.
They played an Elvis song as we went into the church and there were champagne glasses and a bottled of champagne on the coffin for us all to have a drink on her.

When the vicar chap had said his bit a musician sat by the coffin and sang "She'll have to go" it was an old Jim Reeves song but he sang "He'll have to go.

We then went orf to the big fire place and sent or on her way.
She had planned all this in advance, best of all was the big wad she left over the bar in the Top Brink Todmorden so we could all get blathered while a CD we had made of all her favourite music was played. A good day out was had by all, except my old aunty.
