Happy birthday Garth Dawson.
Didn't realise he was a member, he hasn't posted, but has joined, and his 85th birthday is showing up at the bottom of the page.
Happy birthday, and many happy returns, to a man who has spent his life recording the people and the places of this area for most of his life. All the very best.

Garth Dawson took my very first passport photo, in 1955, when there weren't photo booths around. I was 12.

Happy Birthday Garth - a man who has been flashing all over Accrington for many years and never got locked up. He no longer has a negative attitude.I thibnk it would have been garth who took my photo in Gatty Park in he summer of 1944 and it was printed in the Observer.
