Happy Thanksgiving ...
That time of year again ... hasn't been the greatest year ... lost a couple of close buddies and my second ex-wife, all to cancer ... but, all in all, I have lots to be thankful for, as do most of us lucky enough to live here. Feast day is tomorrow: Wild turkey, and a couple of pheasant ... shot 'em myself ... retrieved by my best buddy Molly, a gun-dog without equal.
 And P.E.I spuds, veggies from Ontario, wine from Prince Edward County, beer from the Beer Store Pumpkin pie is store-bought ... never could get the hang of baking one of those.So, I would like to wish all of you ... even the tories  ... a Happy Thanksgiving |
