It was originally recorded by B.J. Thomas in 1968.
I think he should have recorded it as B.J. Hoff. You can see why he's big in Germany. It's better than yodelling...slightly.

Heard something on the radio the other day that 'The Hoff ' is shortlisted as one of the contestants in that jungle show 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here'.Which is due for being shown in the next few weeks.
