I so wish, cos mine needs fixing too!! But all our gas lads hate my make of boiler

. I am replacing mine soon anyway with one they can fix if anything goes wrong, ha ha

You can't use those words together. I have heard many times about CORGI reg plumbers/gas "experts" etc who have no idea how to fix a boiler. They often just guess and change something which ends up costing the poor customer a shed load of money.

What make is yours and what is wrong with it / what problem are you getting?

I'm not too bothered about getting my boiler fixed as I have a feeling the PCB is going faulty ...AGAIN...plus it keeps losing pressure and has now sprung a leak!!! And as I am replacing it at same time as my kitchen in couple of months is doesn't seem worth the cost!

A boiler losing pressure could be a pipe leaking anywhere in the house. In your case it is most probably caused by the leak you can see on the boiler.

You say your PCB is on its way out again, what make of boiler is it out of interest? What make have you decided to replace it with when your kitchen is done? No I am not nosey, just interested.

it's an ariston that refuses to go on and on and on (if you remember advert) replacing it with a baxi (but forgot model number)

The instant is a good boiler. It contains a small store of hot water so you don't have to wait as long as most combi's for the water to get hot.
I would not put an 80 in a dolls house, much to small an output so you get a low flow of hot water. I was going to fit a 133he but have not got round to it yet. You get lots of hot water with the higher output ones.
Ask your plumber to price up the Main range by Baxi, same boiler, different box, less money

well its jammed shut AGAIN - has anyone got a crow bar please? i aint waiting another 7 days for them to come out and fix it, its the exact same problem that i had last year

but this time my freezer is under there, i cant live off whats in my cupboard for the next 7 days
