Re: huge spiders
omg omg omg!!!!!!
Excuse me while I just cry!!!!!
A huge spider just ran into my livingroom, and I seriously crapped my pants. Good job my mum was here to oblitorate it. Even she was affraid of that one and she isn't normally.
It ran under the sofa so when we moved sofa it ran under side unit. So she kicked side unti and it ran under sofa. In the end we had to corner it, I threw a pillow on it, then she lifted pillow and squished it with her shoe. Now she hates killing spiders...... but she knows I would have had to spend most the night in bed if she hadn't.

Re: huge spiders
You should see the spiders we have at work. They have been ginormous for years all big n black an horrible.
I ended up in a clients sink one year I was soooo scared. I have had clients and visitors shift em.
When MUMMIBOO was little she would shift em for me. I'm OK now a days until they start to scuttle.
Ewwww got goose bumps just thinking about the nasty critters.

Re: huge spiders
Don't know if it's coincidence or not , but usually within about 12 hours of seeing a spider in my bathtub we have an earthquake , just a slight tremor or little shake, this has gone on for years , I never see them anywhere else in the house

Re: huge spiders
Last night sat doing the puzzles in the paper something caught my eye it was a great big spider - with the legs about the size of the rim of my mug! I lifted my foot and in a blink of an eye it had gone under the settee. So i thought what have i to do leave it or have a root under the settee. decided to have a root under the settee and drag everything out from underneath it to see if it would come out again. Saw it right at the back next to the skirting boards so moved the settee and went underneath the cabinet. The cabinet i cant move and darent kick so i have now Herbie the spider as a house pet!

Re: huge spiders
Spiders eh we have 1. on the ceiling.
2. on the stairs.
3. on the side of my drawers upstairs.
oh and 1 in the sink as i went to bath the kids.
They are ok but the other night i sat on the sofa and becky came in with her homework and started screaming that something was jumping around under the setee i just laughed and she jumped onto the setee.
When i got up later i saw a baby frog just sat there when i went to get it, it hopped back under the setee and out the other side i got it and popped it back outside!
So i wonder what will come next year!!!

Re: huge spiders
My mum is scared of maggots, but these don't bother me.
Hubby is scared of mice rats hamsters ect....... but these don's bother me
Mum and hubby are both scared of birds, these don't bother me.
Slugs don't bother me ( I pick them up and put them back outside)
The only thing I am scared of are wasps and bloody spiders.
