Re: Hyndburn/Blackburn boundaries
It could be postally in Blackburn but politically and/or geographically in Hyndburn.

That mario site is so slow it is painful. They should be ashamed of creating it.

Agree Neil .. very difficult to navigate .. but can't find anywhere else could get the information from. Worth it when you get there though ... LOL (gotta' be a platform there for one of your notorious innuendos)

Yes, Willow, that is how it looks BB1 3LS (Redcap postcode) is postally Blackburn and the rest as above. Not Rishton though.

Re: Hyndburn/Blackburn boundaries
I put BB1 3LS, which we all agree is the postcode for the Redcap, into multimap. Have a look at the top left of the map and fill in the missing word from the following: UK/ England/ Lancashire/ -------
http://www.multimap.com/maps/?hloc=G...03LS|BB1%203LS

I asked where this was, as the only Redcap I knew was on the road from Accrington to Blackburn. That's the one, I was told, it's actually in Rishton. Apparently there is a stream which runs parallel with the main road and disappears underground as it passes through the Redcap carpark, this stream is the boundary between Rishton and Oswaldtwistle, both of which are in Hyndburn, NOT Blackburn. So wherever the Redcap is, it sure isn't Blackburn.

yeah i know what your saying, there is a stream that runs near my house, 'the brook' as we call it, but it goes from Peronne Crescent (across from the ossy sign) right the way down to whitebirk road, it comes from the river Blakewater so my dad tells me
