Irish soda bread
bought some yesterday and its lovely, never had it before
but it doesnt half make me burp...anyone else experienced this from it?

my step mum sent me a reciepe for butter milk soda bread, its great i can dig it out if you fancy having a go? I ate loads of it when we went to see them, with proper irish butter

Flashy the stuff you get over here aint as good as the proper stuff from over there.
Besides Soda Bread, which you can try and make from the stuff over here ... but you cant get the proper makings for it ... my mum tried for years to make it .. but she couldnt get the proper makings ...
If you get the chance to go over there theres wheaten bread which i prefer, Fruit Soda - which is made in a round rather than soda farls (the triangle ones), but my favourite - veda......

Oh and when i go to ireland i have to take a holdall in my suitcase to bring back the proper stuff for my sisters and brother and then they all argue over it ...
