Goodness mags not like you that, can't you find one of your we're all doomed links with, it's modern technology that's forcing us down this path themes?

Could it be that no one has condemned HD TV yet?

Now's your chance to write your own. Go on be the first, you know you want to.

Re: Is HD Worthwhile?

I just want to point out that there is no point getting HD if your eyesight is so bad that you don't see the detail anyway.

I recall getting my first pair of glasses at age 10, and seeing the wrinkles on my gran's face, which I never knew she had.

What you haven't seen, you don't believe exists, until you become aware that everyone has their perception limited to a varying extent.

When I first got HD, the biggest improvement I noticed wasn`t from the HD channels but changing from SCART to HDMI/DVI, even on SD channels the improvement was huge.

Has freeview improved or are the people I'm watching getting grottier?

It might help Less if you dusted your TV screen occasionally

Re: Is HD Worthwhile?

There is a big difference between HD and ordinary TV, especially sports programs, when it first came out my Daughter changed over to a football match one Saturday lunchtime, I told her to change to HD when it changed over she just said hell what a big difference there is between the two channels
