Re: Ladies....Clear Nail Polish?

My nails are horrible...not worth varnishing at all......and I rarely put nail varnish on....but I bought some Nourishing Nail Spa......it is more of a treatment than a varnish....but it gives nails a healthy, but not too glossy a coat.......it lasts for ages once on the nails......and it is supposed to be good for your nails.
You need acetone free remover to take it off.
So why are my nails still horrible then......well you have to remember to apply it...and I only seem able to do this when I am away with Ma.

I don't recall this treatment being that expensive.....maybe £3, but I can't for the life of me remember where I bought it.
Maybe a look at www.eleganttouch.co.uk would help.

I've alwys been amused by the price women will pay for nail varnish, when its exactly the same stuff as I use to get from the model shop some 70 odd years ago, when I was into radio controlled model aircraft, could get enough to keep your nails coated for years at 2 bob a tin.

Re: Ladies....Clear Nail Polish?

Nailtiques No2 protein nail varnish is very good, you can get it on ebay at a shop called Talon Nails, its not cheap but it does last. It's also very good for your nails, you put a new layer on each day (you leave the previous days layer on). It also helps strengthen your nails, and in no time they look really healthy, grow really quickly, and become very strong. If you keep using it your nails look that good that they look like they have had a french manicure done.

It would have to be very very good to make my nails look even half decent.......must be all those years of hand washing with Hibiscrub and other horrible chemicals.

It's very good. I have used it for about 5 years off and on. Even got Harwood Red into using it a couple of years ago. She had lovely long nails for the first time in years.
