Let's Raise a Glass.

It's New Years Eve, traditionally we salute folk and wish them the best.

I would like the glass raised for that special person in your life, not your spouse/life partner, (even I can get P.C.).

I mean that very important person, the one that is always there, helping you through without a hesitation, accepts your help without question, knows when you need it.

Mine did exactly that today,

To best mates, CHEERS.

Re: Let's Raise a Glass.

Lovely idea Less, I would like to pay a tribute to all on Accyweb who have helped to make this year more bearable than it otherwise might have been for me.

I really mean ALL, those I get on with, those that wind me up, the funny, the pompous, the tedious... I could go on but this would begin to sound like an Oscar speech.

Anyway, to the lot of you I raise a glass - thanks, cheers and a good new year.

I agree.......the world would be a much less interesting place without those people.
My wish for you all in 2013 is Everything you would wish for yourself and just a little bit more besides. Happy New Year.

Re: Let's Raise a Glass.

Happy new year, everyone. One question: is it two thousand and thirteen or twenty thirteen?

Everyone was saying twenty twelve last year for the Olympics so I guess it's twenty thirteen. And we usually say ten sixty six rather than a thousand and sixty six for the Battle of Hastings...
