Re: LOL ... TV Rules OK
I have been known to say 'i'll ring you back later because I'm having my tea', but never because of TV.
Once, i was watching a really good documentary with Stephen Fry about depression and someone rang about 10 minutes in and kept talking for almost an hour!!! I missed it all.

I forgot to add. I never say 'can you ring back later because I'm watching TV', because if I don't want to speak to someone I don't answer the phone.

Gosh .. you two are so right .. I always refused to let my kids answer the phone at meal times, or keep the TV on when we had visitors.
Back to the drawing board ...
Mind you, would never have done this with anyone but my close family .. strange that.. 'cept Cashy of course .. would have told him to sod off (please) for 1/2 hour ...LOL

Re: LOL ... TV Rules OK
I don't answer the phone at certain times, because I know it won't be my mother, as our two-way TV-telepathy has a very strong signal.
Some programmes would only be interrupred for a life and death situation.

The whole family used to know never to ring my Nanna when Coronation St was on.

Re: LOL ... TV Rules OK
From what I've seen of the English telly, missing something shouldn't be a problem because you just know it's going to be coming round again within a couple of weeks.
