Now, I love 'em all that tech wrapped up into a tiny little box, the whole Star Trek team would be jealous of what we can do compared with them and their basic communicators.
However, I would have to agree with Mr. Spock, 'It's just not logical Capt'n!'
There I was out and about in sunny Accrington called for a wandering home pint, oh, good they've got the horse racing on.
The young lady that served me having a quiet moment from serving anyone else, came and sat at the table next to mine.
No, my luck wasn't in, it was definitely out, she decided to ring the Electricity board about her bill, from what I could glean from the one sided conversation she had not only paid he bill but was in front, (this didn't stop her from cursing the worker on the other end of the 'phone).
I waited patiently for the conversation to end, when it finally did
'Excuse me' I said, 'do you not think that your private business should be conducted in private and not broadcast for all the people in here to have to suffer?'.
The language whoopee do she was so insulted and threatened me with sexual deviancy in London I would have to pay a fortune for and added that I shouldn't be listening!
Lets face it, a mobile is a wonderful tool But we should all remember a conversation that we want to be private should not be conducted IN PUBLIC.
