They both made my cards... Rhys did a little hanging butterfly which is gorgeous... he also wrapped a little cake very beautifully!

Saffron made me some truffles and put them in a box she decorated and it looks lovely

I had a card and twenty euros from my daughter. We went out to eat and pigged out on Sunday roast. Lovely, but I can't move now!

Not a word from my son which is upsetting. A phone call would have done. Never mind, I had a nice day.

I had a card from my son, not remarkable in itself except that he had signed it, even if it was posted in Leeds (where my daughter-in-law works). Both my daughters bought me a bottle of wine, my eldest accompanying hers with a packet of specialist dark chocolate and a potted orchid, and out for an Italian meal in the village last night courtesy of Nik.

Well I had a lovely day too. I was showered with messages and cards from my daughters and taken out by the boys, My eldest and his wife tried thier first attempt in making a cake from scratch and although I havent tasted it yet it looks delish...................
we will be indulging later.
