Re: New Social Group
Well I'm not going to join your group, Enignaman, because I don't have any religion but I'm not going to say you're wrong, dangerous, subversive or any other of the epithets that have been applied to you so far.
I grew up in a branch of Christianity that was, at the time, often mistrusted, mocked and disliked - Roman Catholicism. My mother was Catholic, which is why I was, but my dad was agnostic. He taught me to despise intolerance, religious and other, and that has stayed with me, unlike the Catholic Faith. I may not share your beliefs but I defend your right to hold them.
Your faith doesn't, as far as I can see, promote violence or harm to your fellow-men. You don't try to convert the world to your viewpoint and you don't seem be haranguing unbelievers. As long as it stays like that, if it makes you happy, I'm glad for you.

Re: New Social Group
Thankyou WESTENDER for your honesty . It is not about being happy though . It is about knowing the truth and our purpose here on this planet . May God bless your life , he loves you even though you have been directed away from him .

I think you'll find it will be much less people than 486.
I think I've looked at this thread six times, but there's only one of me, so I can't be counted as six of Jesus's sunbeams.
Praise be.

I agree with what Westender wrote about religious tolerance, each to their own...except when it becomes patronising, which you are becoming,
I bet I could quote the Bible better than a lot of people on here, and could certainly stand my ground in any theological debate, but I've come to the conclusion that man's need for religion, which started as soon as he was able to think, many thousands of years before Christianity, is a load of old bunkum.
Please don't count this post as another of Jesus's wayward children that has been reached today by this thread.

Re: New Social Group
he is happy because he thinks he has 'reached' us. He doesn't realise that most of us have been extracting the urine

Sadly, for many children, when many Irish and American Catholic priests wanted to give you a 'butter pie', it wasn't what you've just had...hopefully.
