How can you see someone doing that, Mez? How would I know if someone was looking at my profile or my posts?

But what is the problem that some older men have with me?

For some it appears to be bordering on the obsessive.

Commenting on how tall I look in the Gallery. Fantasising that they'd like to spend half an hour with me dressed as soliders.

Frankly I feel hunted, but most of all I feel sorry for the poor wives.

Surely all this time pursuing me, and me seeming to be in their every wakened thought, is time they should be spending with their nearest and dearest?

It's never going to happen anyway.

Way out of your league.

Pay attention to your wives...and leave me alone.
What a load of sniveling dross

Yep that is sad. You see them log on, lurk and log off again. Creepy.

Sorry for being a bit slow here but, as Gayle says, how do you know they're reading your posts and your profile?

Re: Obsessive stalkers.

If you notice them on the forum (bottom of page) you can click on 'quick links' then 'who's online' and it will show you what they are looking at.

When you see someone 'reading profile' how do you know whose profile?

Thanks, Willow, but as Margaret says, can you see who's profile they're looking at?

Alas I am stalker free too; I may well stalk a bit myself later if I have no paint to watch drying !

Re: Obsessive stalkers.

Shocking to think stalking happens on a forum.

Should give them AFSO's (Anti Forum Stalking Orders).

No, you can't but I suppose if it's someone on line who you have history with in 'real' life then the odds are they're checking your profile and posts.

It's not usually a history in 'real life' it's usually an online history of someone being an paranoid/obsessive twerp.

Re: Obsessive stalkers.

The nearest I ever got to being stalked on line was when I joined Second Life.
I roamed around that island you arrive at and changed my appearance to something more glamourous. As I explored I was approached by a naked male with a swedish name who asked if he could be my friend. I exited the application SUPER RAPID!!! and have never gone back
