We all do it, there we are placidly wandering through our favourite supermarket knocking the slow and crippled people out of the way just so that we can get to our usual cereal.
No, sorry if you thought this was going to be another rant about,
why do they keep moving the isles?
Well it isn't, this is far more trivial but just as far reaching as that. (O.K. so that's got rid of the normal people only we, the insomniacs will continue this boring tale from now on).
Why oh why oh why do the manufacturers just before they plan a new 'advertising campaign' feel the need to change the colour of their packaging, the latest in line for this is
Seabrook Crisps.
I have for years always bought myself a six pack of cheese and onion crisps, I like the flavour and most importantly I don't need to put my glasses on to get my munchies, they are in a slightly blue but mainly yellow packet.
Oh you foolish man how wrong can you be?
New marketing new confusion, the first time I made a mistake I picked up what I thought was normal, got home, Oh sheer dismay, salt 'n' vineger, (I hate 'n' flavoured crisps).
next time I was cautious, but not cautious enough, this time blue bag yellow labelling, opened the multi pack and there before me are six light blue bags, not even the same colour as the main bag! I think to myself, not cheese and onion.
Nope they are not even 'n' flavoured, they are unsalted Crisps, not only do I have to put up with a flavour I didn't want I have to pay extra by adding my own salt!
How long before they start a million pound give away competition trying to get back the customers they lost that were too proud to put their glasses on?
