On Poverty

The sole cause of poverty is the inflation of the human population. When people multiply faster than wealth can be created the end result will always be poverty. Furthermore, the planet cannot sustain billions of people for an extended period of time. We will run out of resources far sooner than we can advance the resources of other planets and extra-planetary bodies. If we continue to inflate at the current rate, future generations will be digging in garbage dumps as if they are gold mines. When they run out of garbage to mine, future generations will have nothing left at all and that will be the end of civilization, of our hard work, and of the achievements of all the enlightened minds of past generations of life.

All the hard work and toil we have exerted will have been for nothing. Every time a poor person has a child she or he has given birth to new poverty, pure and simple. The welfare system must be eliminated at all cost. This seems directly opposed to the ideals of individual liberty, however, liberty without responsibility is anarchy and chaos. So, until such time when we have a society worthy of liberty, capable and willing to be responsible for their actions and well being, if responsibility is ignored it will have to be imposed. I assume that by posting this, you agree entirely with its contents? The last time I heard similar twaddle, it came out of the mouth of a communist shop steward in the 70's!
Perhaps you also agree with the chinese solution of banning parents from having more than one child, would you be in the death squad searching for subsequent children to kill?

If the sole cause of poverty is the inflation of the human population, would the elimination of our welfare state stop couples from procreating? I don't think so!

There was a prog on TV about it not long ago. One of those "conspiracy theory" ones with Danny Whatisname.

Basically there's this owl thing in the woods somewhere in the US. All world leaders meet there. It's all connected with this illuminati and New World Order.

Here's a bit of "owl" bumph

Apparently it all takes place at a location known as Bohemia Grove.

There is a "hidden owl" symbol on the dollar bill and apparently illuminati members have a "secret sign" showing owl "ear feathers" (yes I know owls don't have ears like that but some have sticky up feathers which look ear-like)

Strange, the most powerful man on earth (until he got caught with his trousers down) giving homage to an owl!....but to be fair to our Bill, I don't believe he is involved, as the report cited by the thread starter seriously criticises ALL politicians as liars cheats and experts at manipulation of the masses (well, at least they got that bit right)

I wonder? Did any American reporter think to ask him WHY he was making that gesture?
