I only have a single oven, God knows what damage I'd do to myself with a double oven! So a single oven glove will do.

A double oven glove would be more of a problem if he had to reach round a cupboard door like I have to because the door opens towards the oven.

Just a simple suggestion Less, when you put something in the oven, take the plate out the cupboard THEN, so it will be ready for you, resulting in no confusion betwixt oven/plate and cupboard/hot tray, thus, no burnt Less!
