Re: pets and tv

One of our cats watches wildlife programs. When the animals go out of shot he looks round the side of the TV to see where they've gone.

We had a Jack Russell who used to watch TV......he loved all the animal programs......he barked at the dogs and whined at the sad bits.....NO, I'm not making this up! His favourite program was 'You've Been Framed'.
Daft as it sounds, we used to check the channels for a Lassie film if we were going out and leaving him home alone....we drew the line though at leaving him pop and crisps. Barker had a good old life.....he died just over a year ago aged 14....we cried our eyes out!

Mine can use the remote but has developed a habit of switching channels whenever i say 'leave this on'.She has afondness for soaps & cookery programmes and has been known to try out these TV recipes in the kitchen Our late cat used to swipe out with its paw at snooker balls if snooker was on,in fact i swear it potted the black for Dennis Taylor in that famous final frame against Steve Davis many years ago.

My border collie Kim used to love One Man and His Dog. She would sit there staring at the TV throughout the whole programme, cocking her head to the side listening to the shepherds whistling

great pictures willow....your cat looks really into that haha

margeret i fully understand what sadness you suffered ....as you know i had to let my dog go sadly late last year and it broke all our hearts we,d had her for 12/13 yrs and she was so loyal to me and the children as they grew up...she never interacted with the tv like this one does ...

pets can be so funny at times though.....
