>>Has this post anything to do with the new cartoons of Postman Pat that have just been made? Did you know that Asians have now moved into Pats village, is this another case of the "Politically Correct" brigade moving into kids programmes?<<

I suppose it was only a matter of time, It can't be long before Postman Pat is identified as a differently sexed single parentwith learning issues and his cat is discovered to be having under age sex, substance abusing and is slapped with an ASBO.

Ah yes, good old Annette Mills - Muffin the Mule. She'd probably be done for a sexual offence now eh?

No one has mentioned those two superstars of children's entertainment Bill and Ben the Flowerpot men. The originals of course, not these new-fangled coloured imitations.

Ohh! Bill and Ben!
(cue: waves of nostalgia.)

I loved bill and ben, I wanted to live in that garden. What about Tales from the Riverbank and Do Not Adjust Your Set.

Another star was Captain Pugwash. The characters were voiced by Peter Hawkins, who also did Bill & Ben.
