Re: postman pat
Go on windylad, I’m intrigued. Why are we going to get in to a discussion at our age about liking Postman Pat? “I’m 4 years older than you”
I can almost guarantee that that statement will get the ball rolling for you, or Black and White Cat if we kick it hard enough.
Forgive me windy, I’m not taking the pat out of you, but why Postman Pat.
Buy the way, I was more you rhubarb & custard type.

Re: postman pat
I liked Rhubarb. Bob Godfrey is one of the best cartoonists ever.

Re: postman pat
The theme tune for Rhubarb and Custard was a noisy blast wasn't it? NA-NA-NA-NAAA! NA-NA-NA-NAAA! NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NAAA! Great stuff!
Magic Roundabout made me feel claustrophobic! Loads of my student Uni. mates were into watching it but I couldnt face it - made me feel ill!
What about 'Battle of the Planets'? The first manga cartoon and it had the most camp villain in thigh length purple boots - very confusing for a five-year old!
Anyone remember M.A.S.K? It was on on Saturdays as part of Wacaday with the Mallet loon?!

Has this post anything to do with the new cartoons of Postman Pat that have just been made? Did you know that Asians have now moved into Pats village, is this another case of the "Politically Correct" brigade moving into kids programmes?
Not going to delete this one are we Wingy ???

Re: postman pat
Never been a big fan of Postman Pat. Used to like Scooby Doo, Bagpuss and Magic Roundabout. Michael Bentine's Potty Time was an old fave too and Camberwick Green.
