Cheers!
He's been my No. 1 musical hero since I was 14.....although my worship of him faltered ever-so-slightly after the Dappy from N Dubz collaboration!!!

Lol it wasn't *that* bad
(Okay it was).
He is absolutely amazing, I agree-cannot claim to be a die-hard fan, but he's always been somebody I admire.
Good luck with your work

Re: Projects-what are you all doing currently?

Well I must have messed up as I had no MMS and sometimes no GPS(on certain ROMS) but I flashed original firmware on my phone and then flashed a customROM and my phone is G-R-E-A-T

Flashing customROM -- To replace the system on a phone. Some of these customROMS are made by 14 year old's. Performance on this particular phone is much, much better with a customROM installed(requires unlocking bootloader and rooting which kills warranty).

Sony put a lot of bloatware(crap you may never use and resource/ram hog etc) in their stock ICS(ice cream sandwich--android version)ROM. It is very buggy and slow compared to the ones I have tried from XDA's(website for android development) users. These guys are the programmers of tomorrow. Well. They do a better job than sony do...

I had the same thought process as Marg P lol

I think I need a 'you' in my life lol
What's a 'taggy' please?

I tried making christmas presents one year but my family turned their noses up at them!
Apart from the chocolates. I will be making some of those this year!

Yes I can understand that.......I know when I was working I seemed much more organised on the run up to Christmas....I had to be. I had the Ward Christmas to organise(fundraisiing for Christmas gifts) and I had our own Christmas to organise too.
I guess it is down to prioritising......these days, Christmas just doesn't seem so important. I'm a 'bah, humbug' person anyway.

Re: Projects-what are you all doing currently?

There is plenty of work to do out there in the community for people who want to do it. I know it's only really possible if you have enough income to live on, e.g. from retirement pensions. Since retiring three and a half years ago I occupy my time as a borough councillor, serve on the boards/committees of various local voluntary bodies, am a governor at three schools, a lay reader at church and a national trust room steward at Gawthorpe Hall, Padiham. I'm not a domestic goddess so things like cleaning up have a very low priority! Some people think I'm mad for doing all the things I do in my so-called retirement but at the end of the day it's my choice! I was very tied looking after my mother until she died a few months ago - I found that very hard - but am now able to continue my work in church and community. Can't see me slowing down yet!
