Well they obviously didn't have a Cheshire Summer (rain nearly very bloody day). I've managed to get 2 titchy (football-sized) pumpkins that I'm now trying to ripen on the breakfast-room window sill.
I will try again next year. You may yet see me paddling down the Ship Canal.
