I'm really not sure lancashire lad but I've got a government over here that will spend 10 million dollars or so to get to the bottom of this most complexing question!

Nah, farst come from the methane created as teh food is digested in your gut so they coem from seprate places.

Sorry Ian, as British citizen you'll have to write up your own research paper, with full documentation, and submit it to your own Government. Not sure if they support this form of incredibly significant, world changing science as does the good old USA.

I on the other hand. Being a good American, I shall use your own conclusion as me own and submit it to the powers that be. I'll be proclaimed a national hero, decorated with metals, and cash my check.

Also, do you really think the US government would pay close to 20 million dollars for this? They aren't that daft, 10 million dollars is closer to the going rate.

hmm this post reminded me of a dilema i once found myself in

when pooly after a night out i had dihorea and vomiting and both came at teh same time and the toilet was too far away from the sink

i cant be the only person whos faced this one

thinking about it i suppose you could dive in teh bath and explode from both ends
