RSPB and cats

For the last few days an ad has popped up on Accyweb advertising their Big Garden Birdwatch, which happens every January. The picture shows a rather lovely cat peering out of a window and saying "I saw three wrens, they're my favourite. What will you see?"

I wonder whether the RSPB has got any flak for using a cat in this ad given many folks' reaction to cats killing birds? Personally I love it. It makes me smile every time I see it - possibly because we used to have a very similar-looking cat.

There is a small black cat comes into our garden for birdwatching, but it doesn't know that it is being watched by Max.
