In some respects you are right. This is just a sound bite...and it means very little because whatever he says and whatever he does it can't be 'policed or enforced' and I don't believe it is something that can be learned.
DC is just mouthing the words that he thinks people want to hear...what he doesn't perhaps realise is that we had sound bite politics 'up to here' when TB was in office...they mean nothing.

As for Free English lessons..definitely not......why should they be free? And who pays for them ultimately? The tax payer, you and me. An ability to speak English should be an entry requirement.

I am not against immigration...but I AM against uncontrolled immigration.
If we had a system like they have in Australia then that would be fine. But we have borders that are not adequately or accurately monitored. We have people who purport to come to this country to 'study'...and they never go to college/university/educational establishment...they disappear off the radar and are never called to account.....or removed from the country.
they should NOT be here.....they are bogus.
We have asylum seekers who are not granted leave to stay,nothing is done. We have illegal immigrants...nothing is done.
These people are not helping the country.
We do not know who is here. We do not know how many people have come into the country because we do not operate a 'count them in - count them out system'.
We should only accept those immigrants who can speak English, who have a job to come to or a trade or profession that is needed in the economy(either local or national) and who can support themselve for at least two years without any help at all from the state(and that means medical help - they would have to take out medical health insurance for the first two years here).

The type of people I mention would be keen to work, make a go of it and integrate(even if they settled in an area where there were people of their own culture, creed or ethnicity).
People who come here and want to change us - the way we do things, to the way they did them in their own country should go back there...they obviously have a greater affinity to where they came from than they think and are hee perhaps because the UK is seen as any 'easy touch'.

they didn't listen...and any dissenters were branded as xenophobic or racist.
These terms are purely to stop any reasoned debate.
There was no debate, there was no concultation........uncontrolled immigration was seen not as a way of increasing the working population to make more money, but as a way of increasing the Labour party voting base.
It was a cynical ploy to make sure that Labour stayed in political power.

It has damaged the fabric of this country irreparably.

This publication is hardly unbiased...and what is happening is not representative of the whole country.
I am always a bit sceptical of such articles because the organisation which has published this has 'an axe to grind'.
There are a number of Jewish communities in the North West, the communities are peaceful.....you do not find them out in the street brandishing machetes....or indulging in turf wars.
Their youths/men are not intimidatory, or predatory to young white schoolgirls, plying them with alcohol and drugs before using them to satisfy their carnal appetities.
I have seen no reports of groups of Jewish men grooming girls.....as has happened in Rochdale Oxford and other places in the UK.

I think Jewish mothers have a bigger role/say in how their children are brought up. I don't think boys are put on a pedestal and girls to be seen but not heard. I think those vile activities by some groups of men would be looked down on as extremely shameful in the Jewish community. I think the young people give more than a token nod to the religion they were born in to.

You can only be Jewish if your mother is Jewish.
The religion is passed down from the mother.

That's the opposite from Islam,where, even when the mother is a non muslim, the children automatically are. The children belong to the father. That's the reason, when a child is snatched from its mother and taken abroad to its fathers muslim country, it becomes an almost impossible task to get them back. The father is looked upon as taking what is his in the first place.
