school closures
I know its a bit late but here they are, and before anyone says anything about the schools being soft for closing, just think about this, teachers travel from further afield nowadays so if the travel conditions are bad then they can't get into work, and if enough teachers can't get into work they have to close

I have just fixed the link above and added the LCC website to it. The LCC one should always be the same but the BBC one might only work today
Becareful with the LCC one though, it has many Hyndburn schools missing and has a Clitheroe school in the Hyndburn section. The page would not load earlier just when people needed it to. Poor effort by Lancashire County Council!!

Thanx Neil, aparently the LCC website crashed earlier, to be honest I heard a lot more about todays school closures on The Bee than I did online, radio Lancs are a bit backwards in coming forwards

The Bee's website had problems as well.
M6 looks fine at Preston, you can look at the cameras here Motorway Traffic Cameras - Live CCTV image, M6 Northbound, J29 No cameras on the M65 though Here is a link to all the motorway cameras http://www.motorwaycameras.co.uk/

Please be advised that Rhyddings will close today at 2.10pm. The year 11 parents’ evening, which was scheduled for tomorrow evening, will now be postponed until the weather has cleared. We will inform parents of the new date for this as soon as possible.
