sensible advice

if you had purchased £1,000 of northern rock shares one year ago it would now be worth£4.95. with HBOS earlier this week your £1,000 would have been worth £16-50p. invested with xl leisure would now be worth less than £5-00p.but if you bought £1,000 worth of tennents larger one year ago, drank it all, then took the empty cans to a re-cycling plant , you would get £214-00so based on the above satistics the best current investment advice is to drink more and re-cycle.

Re: sensible advice

But what if you buy £1000 of Northern Rock shares today, what will they be worth next year?

Re: sensible advice

Anyway those figures for scrap prices are wrong. You suggest that over 20% of the price of beer is the value of the can. Cans are worth less than a penny each. Where do you buy cans of beer for 5p?
