Ok ... so this didn't go down as well as I thought .. was just meant to be amusing, but picked up another, albeit, serious thought, should this come under Mothernature's thread about one policy, etc ? :-
Priorities 'The Conservatives have pledged to offer a single room to all patients who need one or want one by the end of their first time in government, if elected at the next election.' That's it. Make sure it's an appealing environment with all mod cons, refurbished to the highest of design standards, matching chintz and solid wood fittings perhaps? Lavish carpets and embroidered cushions while we can sip Earl Grey out of china tea cups. Somehow I don’t think this will reduce hospital waiting lists, improve care or be available to everyone. Money well spent Pah! |
