That Cat Again!
I've just been having a sort out of my desk, the bottom right hand drAwer hasn't been touched since I moved, (almost a year now), and it was filled to the top with family photo's.
So I bit the bullet and started going through the piccys, it only took about 4 hours and I now have a wall full of nostalgia, did our Roy really look that cute and innocent back then?
Time for a brew and a fag, noticed there was something missing, I haven't been harrased for quite some time, now where's that cooking fat?
All the doors inside the house are open 'cos I was looking for where I'd packed picture hooks hammer etc so it could be anywhere!
I gave up searching, she'll turn up when she's ready, finished my brew and opened the drawer to put back the pics I wasn't going to use and there curled up fast asleep in it was the cat! She'd ducked around the back at some time jumped in and had an afternoon doze while I was looking for her!
GRRRRRRR!

The drawer was shut, as I said, there is a gap at the back of it and she climbed in through there, until I'd emptied it there hadn't been room for her to get in before.

Re: That Cat Again!
One of ours always manages to get into the cupboard under Mimi's bed in the night even though she makes sure the doors are closed before she goes to bed. Just be very careful with things like ovens, washing machines and tumbler dryers!

Re: That Cat Again!
my cats used to love sleeping in the dryer, especially when it had just finished and was still warm..they manage to get in the starangest places.. my kittens used to sleep in the box that the food puches came in and would empty them all out first. lol

Re: That Cat Again!
My Gran's cat used to climb into the oven at the side of the fire. It was one of those big old farmhouse kitchen ranges with an open fire and the oven heated by the fire.

Re: That Cat Again!
Remember looking for our cat once (when we had one) looked everywhere even went out shouting for him out on the street - seeing as he was called n1gger (black as the ace of spades he was) you can imagine what the looks i got!!! Anyway couldnt find him. We had a dog as well lovely black labrador he was called sultan ........ found the cat when the dog got up .... he'd curled up in the dogs paws and the dog had put his head on him!!!

Re: That Cat Again!
He actually swiped the dog with claws for disturbing him and all hell let loose then - the dog chasing the cat round the house. Mum opened the back door and chased them both out and shut the door!!!
