.... tis Christmas Eve, 6.15pm, pressies wrapped, last christmas cards written, house tidied up a bit, if ive missed anyone ......... tough!!!!!

I will have to do without a midday nap tomorrow.
Darwendosser is dining with me in the afternoon and I'm going to visit son and grandchildren in the evening. I am thinking of going to bed very shortly. If I wake in the early hours I will do a lot of the dinner preparation then and then go back to bed for another few hours.

Well I tried - laid in bed in silent darkness for an hour, but couldn't sleep for thinking about all I had to do - so I'm back here (in between preparing mushroom stuffing)

Well I decided against veal escalopes in marsala and am doing chicken breasts in marsala instead in accordance with Delia's recipe.
