The Great Potato Question
A question has been raised today which has baffled me.
You take a potato, bake it and eat it and you're full.
You take a potato and make 7 chips out of it and you're nowhere near full.
Discuss.

Think its all the cheese and butter in the baked potato that makes the difference Ken

Re: The Great Potato Question
Two products can have approximately the same number of calories, but the amount of nutrients and vitamins in them may differ greatly. If you compare a portion of baked potato to a portion of chips with equal calorie content (100 calories), you will find that baked potato contains twice the amount of dietary fiber: baked potato contains 1.61 g of fiber, while chips contain 0.75 g of fiber. In addition, baked potato has four times more vitamin C than chips (13.7 mg of vitamin C in baked potato and 3.4 mg in potato chips). Baked potato is more nutrient dense than chips.
Next question.
(I've taken over from Fergie, as the face of Fat Fighters.)

Re: The Great Potato Question
Plus, you have to take into account your mastication habits.

That's between me and the bedpost.
However, that's the best answer I've ever heard to any question.

I would advise against masticating in the bedroom.
You will find it more benefical to do it sitting upright in a chair.
Not only will this be healthier, it will save on laundry costs.

As the new public face of Fat Fighters I do have to keep up to date with the latest health statistics.
This week I'm mainly eating acorns and dust, which are very low on the glycemic index

Can anyone translate?
I can't understand a word of what they're trying to say.
