I don't think it matters.
In her example Gayle said I went first, and I'm the trainer.

Re: The virtual Grand National - this is the race thread
Just re-read the rules.
Says Garinda 'could' go first, which means to me either of the team could go first.
Perhaps we need a steward's enquiry to clarify the matter.

Gayle think we needs a stewards inquiry just so we can get the race started!!!

Re: The virtual Grand National - this is the race thread
I think that strict diet I've had Cyfr on this past week or so, will pay out dividends.

Wait a minute . . Rules? . . . I guess I'll have to adapt to the gentile nature of the English gentry. No Wild West Rodeo type stuff eh? And I guess riding with my six shooter is a no no also eh?
Glad I checked in Bernie. I keep checking for the Starters Bell!

Re: The virtual Grand National - this is the race thread
Good morning fellow riders and trainers. Glad I didn't miss the start . . . or is it already over? :>) Any clue on about when we start?
Hey Gary, would you be a dear and send me a message over on Funtrivia when the start is imminent? Just in case I forget to check in. I'd rather avoid my trainer beating me with Ian's cane to get me going.

Sure no trouble.
I'll message you on Fun Trivia, just as soon as Cyfr gets round the first bend.

Re: The virtual Grand National - this is the race thread
Come now Rindy, just between you and me, we'll need each other to make this work-out properly! Remember that whole alternating thing. It's only near the end that the bnest combo will win.

Re: The virtual Grand National - this is the race thread
Thanks Rindy, now how about some help on today's Accy Geography quiz?
Actually, I'm gonna PM Bernie about a jockey replacement. Not really fair for her if her jockey is still in bed when the trumpet sounds.

Don't worry Jaysay ... am committed now, and play to win. ! Hope won't finish up like this though :-
