Re: Tonight...
To answer your original question if I am nervous or anxious about something I can't eat. I try to relax with nice smelly stuff and soothing sounds (music usually but sometimes waves crashing on rocks or waterfalls and birds tweeting).
How can you manage to eat three main meals? Surely not one after the other ???!!!!
Rindy is right. Don't try to cram your head full of stuff at the last minute. I never did that. I figured if I didn't know it then it was too late to try to ram it in at the last minute. My brain would just rebel.
Also I find it's a lot easier to think and concentrate when I haven't eaten a lot. Eating diverts energy to your digestive system and away from your brain. Excercise is good because it tires out the muscles and physical side of things but it doesn't tire out your brain. It gets more oxygen into you and that helps your thinking processes. It may sound daft but it's actually quite relaxing to, to just flop out after a bout of strenuous excercise.
Oh, and good luck with the exam. Hope you do well.

Re: Tonight...
I agree with Garinda, a quick read through maybe then books away, when my girls had exams one swotted like mad the other said well if I don't know it now I'll never learn it in a few hours, they both did equally as well as each other.

Re: Tonight...
In preparation for an exam it is always advised to post some meaningless drivel on a random internet forum in the hope that it will boost your self esteem and general levels self-importance.

What do you guys do when you are nervous/anxious? Obviously I've just told you I eat.
What have you done tonight other than being on accyweb? I have just been revising all day. Not even looked outside so I dont even know what the weather was like.

Re: Tonight...
I wanted to advertise sainsbury's taste the difference cottage pie, made with really lower class children more than anything. It was absolutely amazing.
Exam went fine, probably the best one yet actually. Just one left to do on friday and they're all done for the year.
I am going to cook a big pan of chilli con carne now and prepare myself for the apprentice final tonight, and probably talk a bit more on accyweb.

Re: Tonight...
This chili con carne recipe said put cocoa powder in it, and I must admit I was a little dubious, especially as I only had really rich free trade cocoa powder, and the smell of my chili soon turned into a very strong chocolatey smell, but I have to admit it is brilliant!
