Trivial Threads

I think some of the threads are really trivial lately e.g. "what times the Chineese open? , or "My phone won't work, or "what times the Library open? ...

Only my opinion of course but it might give visitors the wrong impression of Accrington bing a bit Chavvy!

Since this is only the second thread you have started in 3 1/2 years, I am glad we don't just discuss 'serious' issues here

Re: Trivial Threads

Don't understand what you mean by being a bit Chavy ?

Would they be going to the library ? LOL.

Most of our members will search on the internet to find this information or try to ring the establishment required, (take aways don't always open early afternoon) but can you usually get the answer from members on here fairly quickly, if you have struggled.

Yes, these are 'trivial' threads .. but that's why I love Accyweb .. like talking to someone in your living room.

Part of the beauty of Accyweb is that everybody is so willing to help their on-line friends. What seems trivial to you is not to other people. I for one would be lost without my friends on Accyweb

Re: Trivial Threads

Well they were in relevant sections, for example my Chinese take-away opening times question was in Question and Answers. If I didn't already know the answer I'd have asked what the meaning of life was, for a bit more depth.
