Hi everyone, have only just seen this thread today and would just like to say thanks for all the best wishes you guys have posted on here. Was actually feeling quite down today as have been told that my job cant be kept open for very long due to the current climate, but you guys have cheered me up no end.Many thanks.
I know this is cheeky, but Sparkie probably needs support more than I do (nurses are brill), so if anyone who knows her could just say hi I would appreciate it very much. Thanks all onve again. Peg Leg Pete aka ukcowboy!!

Well here's an update for everyone, Pete is now walking about for short distances on crutches. He also rang me from the ciggy hut outside the hospital this morning after they supplied him with a wheelchair he can wheel himself!!!! They're apparently hoping to send him home at some point this week once they've got his pain meds right.

Well people he's now home and residing on the sofa.
What I would like to ask is does anyone have an adult wheelchair he can borrow to wheel himself about in? The hospital only gave him crutches. Many thanks |
