What a plonker
A burglar was nicked when a web cam on the computer he was stealing caught him on video. The pictures of Benjamin Park stealing the £3,719 machine were sent to the owner's email account and passed on to police. Software engineer Duncan Grisby, 30, had set up the security system after being burgled once before. The pictures led to 19-year-old Park yesterday being jailed for 11 months for the burglary in Cambridge. "It made our job really easy and it was a pleasure to see the expression on Park's face when we showed him the pictures as we interviewed him," detective sergeant Alan Page said.  |
