What a fortnight!
As many know, our son was born 4 weeks premature 2 weeks ago, the week after, my sister in law lost her mum after a battle with cancer, Number 3 son (Michael) was 18 on wednesday and his birthday party is booked and paid for on saturday... Today I got a phone call to say my favourite niece is having to terminate her 3 months pregnancy due to serious spina bifida (the youngster was not developing a skull), tea time today I recieved another phone call to say my grandchildrens (number 2 sons kids) have had a fire at home, though nobody was in the house, the neighbour is the mother to my unborn 5th grandson, she is currently being treated for smoke inhalation along with her daughter, my eldest son has come over from Spain today (I havnt seen him or his son since last November) to be greeted with all of this! Give me strength!! Oh, and during the week, my second youngest was rushed to hospital with a severe asthma attack!

Re: What a fortnight!
First of all congratulations on your son, hope all is well.
You are having a rough time of it, makes one wonder how much a person can take. But i am sure you and your family will find the strength from somewhere. Sorry but i just don't know what to say.
Hope you all have a good time on Saturday night. (Think you're brave having an 18th lol)

Re: What a fortnight!
Sounds like you are having all the worry I had earlier this year. Makes you wonder "what next" doesn't it?

Re: What a fortnight!
Haha, I am a very talkative drunk, dont know about funny.. except the time I leaned back against a barrier whilst drunk, only to realise when my head hit the road, that I had actually walked PAST the barrier.
