OK, Just one guess.
You needed a user name that would hide the real you so you decided to spell your name backwards! Is that right Nel?

Sometimes appearances can be deceptive! If 2 years ago, someone called be a bus driver I would have been miffed as for the past decade or so, I have been a COACH driver! (I have since mellowed as I have had to do the occasional service run with the company I am with now)
BUSMAN came about previous to my accyweb membership when I tried to sign in at another site. For some reason, every combination of COACHMAN seemed to have been taken - - so in frustration, I typed in BUSMAN and hey presto
No chance of changing it now since my comments on Nels name

Re: What does your name mean?
Mine was given to me as a nickname when I lived up in Glasgow.
They all used to whisper excitedly when I entered a club, 'Gary-in-da-house'.
When I first joined up one cold winters night last year I didn't think I'd still be known by it. I've joined lots of forums but Accy Web is the most addictive, so I'm stuck with it.
I much prefer my shortened nickname Rindy, which if I remember correctly was first given to me by the Conway Twitty sisters, Stinky and Links, in the chatroom.

Re: What does your name mean?
Mine I have had since primary school by my pals warping my christian name and it has stuck ever since. Would cause more confusion if I put my proper name in Gaelic which did cross my mind when joining though.

Re: What does your name mean?
Mine is pretty obvious. It was a spur of the moment thing when I found the site in June prior to my trip to England.
The "yankee" was what I supposed all americans are known as over there. I'm also a "yankee" to all my southern brethren here. However, being born and bred in New England, we never considered ourselves yankees, that was the hated baseball team from New York. Kinda like the love affair you "Lancs." have with your Yorkshire neighbor eh?
