Re: what scares you?
Mmmm lots of different things at different times...but what scares me the most is people that get really angry at little things - there has got to be something in them that is going to snap one day - so i guess the thought that they may snap near or at me is what scares me
i used to be scared of walking round woolworths when i was about 15 i had this irrational fear that i was going to fall over and gouge my eye out on one of the corners of the shelves which looked pretty pointy - as far as corners go lol! it went on for about a year ......

Re: what scares you?
I try not to be scared of anything. But heights get me everytime. Also reminds me of one of the best chat up lines i ever came up with. While having a conversation about fears i turned to the girl next to me and said 'im terrified of sex, wanna help me get over my fear' that got a lot of laughs from my mates and almost worked. Oh i dont like needles either.

Re: what scares you?
Good god i hope not....make me cringe. I have heard some terrible ones (used a few aswell in my young and foolish days). These days i just chat nonsense to them, until they give up and foolishly agree to be my wife -insert evil laugh here-.

Re: what scares you?
Not scared of most things, but if there is one thing I can think of, then to be honest it would be spiders.

They aren't attracted to light, they do something to do with the moon and they conuse artificial light with it, cant remember quite what it is to do with the moon though... something to do with the ability to fly straight or something like that, celestial navigation I think its called. I read or saw that said in a film somewhere but I cant think where.
Just a bit of trivia for you, bit useless without remembering the full reason though. Will see if I can find the right info for you.
edit: had a look and I can find it on yahoo and wikipedia but the only reference seems to be an american site which merely questions whether its true, so either the Americans are out of date and it has been proven elsewhere, or nobody has researched into it enough to really know.

Re: what scares you?
I tell you what doesn't SCARE me as such but turns my stomach, those teens who have hanged themselves in Bridgend. Being the same age as some of them makes me feel queazy.
I am not superstitious or anything really but I dont think I'd go to the place at the moment, I just imagine the whole place is on edge almost just waiting for the next one and praying its not their child. I'd actually leave the town if I lived there with children my age.
I know its stupid and they think its something to do with bebo, but I dont believe that at all, especially as Bebo has such wide networking that the hangings would've spread further a field if it was just friends of friends talking about it and stuff on Bebo. I just think its something far more of a problem than just an internet networking site, and I don't expect they're going to figure out why its happening any time soon unless someone speaks up.
But yeh, I can read about murders, rapes, child abuse, domestic violence with no problems, but this just makes me feel physically sick. I'm not even exactly sure why I feel that way about it, i've hardly even read about it...

Got negative unsigned karma for this post, telling me if I don't like our ELECTED government, I should ****** off, just to respond, our elected government was more to do with the numbers who didn't vote than the number who did, and if your fed up listening to people moaning about them, then get off your a**e and canvass people to the next election, see then who is elected, and yes I did vote!

Re: what scares you?
I get scared of my own imagination.
Last night, just getting ready for bed ... don't know what happened, but was suddenly plunged into darkness.
Imagined I had suddenly gone blind, or that I had an intruder in the house who had switched off my power in the pantry (like in the horror films) .. heartbeat hit 140. At best a fuse gone. Went downstairs ... lights still on there, no intruders, etc., went back upstairs, all lights turned on perfectly normal again.. took up torch with me just in case, but took me somewhile to nod off..
Was there a power surge or summat around 11.45 > Anybody know ?
