Re: What shape do you like best?
All right, since we haven't got another taker I'll let you know what it all means.
It's a management assessment game - to see what sort of boss/manager you would make.
Squares are determined, strong leaders. They are capable of delegating and work best as part of a team. They achieve things by planning and preparation. They form strong teams around them. They expect the best from everyone around them. They are good to work for but they might be reluctant to promote good workers as they want to keep them for themselves. They are quite rigid in their work structure which could stifle a creative team member. They can become fixed in their ways and are unable to go with the flow if plans change.
Rectangles are similar but are more adaptable so can accept change easier. They also find it easier to find more exciting solutions to problems.
Circles are warm and caring, they make the team into friends and embrace everyone. They are good to work for because they create a friendly atmostphere. They encourage and nurture their team and are happy if a team member gets promoted. They get the job done by ensuring everyone is praised and encouraged to do their part. They allow people to use their own initiative. However, they can be taken advantage of because they always believe the best in people.
Triangles are control freaks. They have a goal and nothing will deviate them from it, they are extremely ambitious. They will not tolerate anyone who wants to do things any other way than their own. They lead rather than manage. They are tough and unforgiving. They achieve a lot but it is because they do most of the work themselves because they struggle to delegate. They like the glory of promotion and of success.
Squiggles are visionaries, they follow a creative path. They prefer to work as an individual but their sheer enthusiasm for what they are doing inspires others to follow them. They don't always want to be a leader but they make good ones when it is thrust upon them. They are happy to take twists and turns but they always achieve the end result. They are open to everyone's ideas and suggestions and are constantly coming up with new ones of their own. They are entrepreneurs. They are exciting people to work for but they could exhaust you with their energy. They can get distracted with the next big thing.
People who could not decide or commit should not be elevated into managerial positions.
So does it fit you?
When I first did this I chose............... well, you can possibly guess!
