Re: Whats for dinner tonight?
As Žim indoors was working all day I had to cook. Not something IŽm too clever at and I really wanted to have a Sunday pint.
I ended up cooking lamb, roast spuds, sprouts, broccoli and yorkshires, plating it up to eat later. We met up after heŽd finished work, had a few beers and came home to eat.
Two jobs in one..........clever me!

Re: Whats for dinner tonight?
I had some free-range roast chicken, potatoes and the last of my home-grown organic broad beans. Shame they've all gone now, but the cabbages I've replaced them with will taste great in a few months time.

You are younger than my son
I can see I was born before my time. Few men in my age group never even boiled an egg until their wife got fed up of waiting on them hand and foot - now they live off microwaved ready meals most of the time
darwendosser excepted - had to add that didn't I ?

Re: Whats for dinner tonight?
I actually enjoy cooking (and eating it ) and find it quite relaxing. I'm not massively creative, but I do experiment with new recipes and types of foods. I've recently been trying out some Thai recipes, which are delicious as I'm a big chili fan!

Re: Whats for dinner tonight?
Tonight I will be mostly eating........
Pan fried sea bass fillet on a bed of creamy mashed potato.
I happened to be at the Darwen indoor market today and bought a fresh sea bass. The fishmonger filleted it for me and that's what I'm having.

Re: Whats for dinner tonight?
The last time I bnought a fresh Sea Bass it cost a bloomin fortune! My daughter did enjoy it though. I'm not keen on 'proper' fish.
Ive only just arrived home so I had a boiled ham and salad sandwich.
