Who wants this job?

BBC NEWS | England | Hampshire | Man seeks drinking pal for father

Im sure there are quite a few candidates on here that would like this job - getting paid to go to the pub.

Thing is why not once a week his son take him to the pub? There is something serious about this though - how come the son has to advertise for someone to take him to the pub.... i remember going into the pub across the way and the old men were sat there propping the bar up - everyone talked to them, landlord when it was quiet stood talking to them. They had their own seats you knew that was their seat. Is this what society is today?

Some more details on this link:
Son advertises for a drinking partner for his 88-year-old father at £7 an hour | the Daily Mail

I take back about his son taking him out for a drink - he does once a week. He comes from Lancashire and hes a Preston North End fan.
