INSTRUCTION AND ADVICE FOR THE NEW BRIDE

This was written by a Minsiter's wife, in 1894, as a guide for new or about to be wives.

Mmmm TBS.. will await with interest for the first woman's post to deny that they have not been guilty of these type of ploys to keep their man at bay., and that it is a load of tripe

My first instinct was to giggle. My second was to pity this poor soul and her unfortunate husband. Imagine being so frigid - I bet she could have kept fish fresh for a fortnight.
