I don't currently pursue dog walking for money so I don't know the average rates but would be open to suggestions.
Hi Olivia i have worked with animal's for 20 years a worked for the RSPCA for 8 years, i looked into dog walking/pet sitting intesivley and was going to set up a dog walking business, however their isn't really a biig enough demand in hyndburn to have this as your only income, however further down south is a different story.

But as a part time job i would say go for it look at the national minimum wage for your age per hour and your going rate should be no lower than that.

But first if i was you i would give the RSPCA a call and ask to become a volunteer dog walker do that for a few months and that will tell you if you want to try dog walking as a job, it will also give you a idea of the different type of dogs you may come int contact with.
