I try not to reminisce, as things are never the same when you go back, somethings worse, others better, I did however remember my old Head Gardener when I went in O.H.P. he died recently.

Yes we went up, but not to the top due to the rain , we parked up on a wide bit of road as the car park was locked. I think due to all the logging that was going on.

Not really the Coppice, it is up Burnley Road just past the roundabout for the motorway there is a lay by on the right. You can either go straight up and over the style to the quarry, or take a right and do a circular walk through the woods.
