Seeing as I've got a little quiet time on my hands, here's a few pans from our Southern sojourn.
Out in the sticks near Rettenberg looking over the Grunten - Kalchenbach dorf nestling at the foot of the Grunten - Bad Tölz Christmas Market (spot the Grimlin) - Another yun of the Bad Tölz Christmas market - A view of the Alps - The Village of Högling - Wasserburg am Inn.
Today in the Allgäu, yours truly was out causing the locals to twitch their curtains.
Actually I thought the place was quite nice (look closely at the bus shelter ) - Pfronten at the foot of the Allgäuer Alps - The "Plansee" (x2) in Austria hidden up in the mountains - Kloster Ettal - Inside the Kloster Chapel.
Across the fields to the Alps from the Austrian side - Inside the "Burg" - The watcher on the wall, keeping an eye on the peasantry & those dodgy Austrians - Burg Tittmoning.
Just outside of Füssen on the B309 - Just outside of Rettenberg taking in the Alpen view - Markt platz Sonthofen "Zum Löwen", "Gastatte Bavaria" & Stadt Bucherei (2 pubs & a library). - Looking towards Bielberg & the Alps (x 2).

So those of you who've been observant will have noticed we've been down in the deep South again annoying the natives! Some happy snaps from the week.
The Bodensee at Meersberg looking to Konstanz - Marktplatz Cham (x2) - The "Bier Tor" & the river Regen, Cham - A busy evening in the "Bier Garten" at Aying - Ammergauen Alpen in Tirol - Typical Tyrolian picture postcard scenery - View from the Hantennjoch - Pretty much the top of the Hantennjoch pass (1994 mtrs, according to the Sat-Nav reading) - "Wein Berg" by Iphofen Franken.
Down South over the Christmas time, hoping for some snow, had to go to the top of the Wallberg (1722mtrs high) to have any chance, even then it was pretty sparse.
