Picnics down the clough , exploring the Red Barn as we called it , following the stream up to the Five Arches . Couldn't beat those days .

Know them well, we used to play up Black Rock as well

It's filled in now with building rubble.......maybe from when they built some bungalows on Willows Lane just above Bullough Park .

Unfortunately you'd be disappointed if you were to go up .

The way up the bottom of the clough following the stream is mainly blocked off , except for a section at the top end near where the Five Arches were .

The paths on the higher level where Black Rock was are still intact though .
