The view is looking up the Baxenden incline with H&B (Globe Works) in the right background. I imagine that the chimney is from somewhere at the bottom of Wellington street, can't remember the mills name.
The building on the right was next to the branch line from the direction of Manchester in the direction of Blackburn (forming the traingular rail line pattern of Accy station.). On the left is the remains of the platform where you caught a train to Manchester.
Nice piccy Bert...brings back memories
